The Toshiba Satellite M645-S4061 Laptop is a timeless beauty with loads of features. It's sleek and attractive design draws attention . From the moment the M645 hit the street, it was promised to meet the needs of most anyone who purchased it. The fact that is smaller in size makes people happy because it weighs less and is easier to carry. The bright and high resolution 14 inch wide screen is great because everything looks crisp and clear.
The I3 dual processor is a fast workhorse, always ready to respond. It comes with 4GB of installed RAM, which can be expanded to 8. Expanding the RAM to 6+ GB makes it excellent for serious gamers. The price is affordable, although it has increased since December, 2010

Now, we know there is no such thing as perfect; so here are some complaints from other users.
Watch Out for These
- Some complaints are that the fan is too noisy and turns on too often. I admit the noise took some getting used to, but now I just ignore it. I know it's keeping the computer cool. Others say the battery usage is too short, averaging 2.5 hours. The specs indicate you can get up to 4.75 hours, but that's with everything off.
- This would be a concern if you mostly use your computer away from electrical outlets. Also, the keyboard is not backlit; which could be a problem if you work in a dimly lit room.
Overall, the great things about this laptop outweigh the above points.

If I had to say one thing about this computer it would be that the keys are sort of stiff and takes some getting used to; but this is an individual preference. Everything is very fast and clean. The harman/kardon speakers are great, and words can't express the quality of sound that comes out of these speakers. Also, I like the HDD with it's impact sensor in case of shock.
